Freedom and the Stream

July 29, 2010

Buddhist teachings speak the stream of becoming in which we are caught. That stream is an ever ending movement of grasping and suffering. It manifests in our daily life as an ongoing sense of anxiety, uncertainty, hope and fear and “Waiting for Godot”. However, according to the Buddha there is another way of being which is living in freedom out of the stream of time and becoming. In our retreat we will meditate, discuss and explore together these and other vital issues. Meditation will include simple sitting practices as well as some vajrayana visualizations.”
