HEALTHY BODY PEACEFUL MIND
TAI CHI QIGONG & MEDITATION
Course Fee: £60
Ani Rinchen Khandro is a life ordained Buddhist nun who recently
completed a three and a half year retreat. She is also an experienced practitioner of Tai Chi /Qigong,
which she has taught since 1988. This course will use meditation in both movement and stillness. Relaxing and energising body and mind by alternating simple yet powerful Qigong exercises with sitting and walking meditations we learn to focus our physical and mental being into an integrated whole. With regular practice this will decrease stress, increase energy and lead to a healthy body and peaceful mind.
Rinchen will present a series of Qigong exercises which direct healing and nourishing energy to all the major internal organs.
She will also teach a variety of meditation techniques which help to calm and clear the mind. There will also be time for
questions and discussion. This course is suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothes.

JUNE
DONAL CREEDON

FREEDOM AND THE STREAM
6th - 14th June 2008
Buddhist teachings speak the stream of becoming in which we are caught.
That stream is an ever ending movement of grasping and suffering. It
manifests in our daily life as an ongoing sense of anxiety, uncertainty,
hope and fear and "Waiting for Godot". However, according to the Buddha
there is another way of being which is living in freedom out of the stream
of time and becoming. In our retreat we will meditate, discuss and explore
together these and other vital issues. Meditation will include simple
sitting practices as well as some vajrayana visualizations."
